Tenant Lifecycle

Overview

Every tenant progresses through a defined lifecycle from creation through operational use.

Lifecycle management enables organizations to be activated, suspended, and archived without losing historical data.

Lifecycle States

Pending

The tenant exists but onboarding has not been completed.

Characteristics:

  • Limited access
  • No operational activity
  • Administrative setup in progress

Active

The tenant is fully operational.

Characteristics:

  • Administrators may log in
  • Providers may be onboarded
  • Patients may be registered
  • Appointments may be scheduled

Suspended

Operations are temporarily disabled.

Characteristics:

  • User access restricted
  • Historical data retained
  • No new operational activity

Archived

The tenant is permanently deactivated.

Characteristics:

  • Read-only historical access
  • No operational activity
  • Compliance retention maintained
